Was looking through the paper today and found not one but two ads for a 'fit model'. Job description basically said that you got paid to try on clothing and rate how it fit. Sounds cool. Body measurements are basically what mine are except for height. I mean, size 8 and 5'6"? And one of them was looking for the same height but a size 6! Now this bugs me because I--and several of my family and friends--are shorter than this. And I've always found that a lot of pants--for example--are 2 to 4 inches too long. Why must average height be above mine?
